2009 Fox Flux Helmet

The Fox Flux helmet has been around the mountain for a few times. We almost see it as a stylist mullet;business up front, party at the back. It's a helmet that combines a freestyle shape with a cross country ventilation.Taking the best from the both worlds into a unique skid lid that looks good on the trails, on the ramps, in the parking lots, even riding on the street. The freestyle shape is the best seen from behind, where the helmet has a familiar curve in addition to extending lower than most cross country helmet. The XC heritage is best seen up front, with the visor and big air scoops work together to help channel air flow over the head.A first helmet is the spoiler atop the rear of the lid.Inspired by motocross, its channel the discharge air flow to keep the helmet streamlined, which mean fast.20 vents let the air come and go as it pleases. The Fox Flux helmet also uses Detox secondary detention system.Colors are black charcoal, black camo, charcoal, white/grey and stone camo. sizes run from small-XL.

Santa Cruz Heckler

This is the most amazing dual suspension bike I have ever ride on, its a magic bike! Can do a lot of stuff such as freeride, xc, downhill, and jumps! It can beat most of dual suspension system like VPP, AVP, and any other bikes which use more than single pivot point! And this old school system can stand to be the best bike I ever have!

Endangered Item!

'Shadow' style XTR is the lightest mech around.

More significantly, it's sprung normally for a super-light action with Rapidfire trigger pods. Shadow design tucks it away from rocks, too, and there's no second spring to let it bounce off the frame. It's proving more awkward to set up for consistent shifts than standard mechs, though.

This means the 'Low Normal' rigged Std mech still has its place, particularly with Dual Control shifters. Either way, Shimano's 'fluorine-coated link pin bushings', cold forged construction and the best jockey wheels around make XTR a super-tough unit.

Its mine now!

The new Shimano Deore XT adds impressive chainring durability to proven performance, making it superb value.

Shimano’s Hollowtech arms have a fantastic reputation for strength to weight ratio, and loads of top downhill racers run XT cranks instead of heavier Saints.

Shifting is best in class and they’re easy to install, thanks to the plastic cap and clamp bolt arrangement. The new steel and composite middle chainring means an extended lifespan, while the weight is still good (if not exceptional).

There are a few grumbles. Torx key chainring bolts mean finding a new tool, and bottom bracket life isn’t great in wet and muddy conditions. But with longer lived aftermarket alternatives now available, that’s less of an issue – especially for RM600 for now on Aug 2008!
